What could be more beautiful than a valley filled with meadows, trees, animals,cliffs towering over the valley and streams filled with fish that run through the valley? This is what Hetch Hetchy Valley was like before it was dammed, flooded and turned into a reseverior. Nature takes thousands of years to make a valley like this one and all though there are many valleys in the United States, each one is unique. So when even one of these valleys are destroyed it is detrimental to the earth. This type of destruction should be avoided when ever possible. However, if after a valley is destroyed and we come to the conclusion that we were wrong then we must try to right our wrong.
